In the former Bambino premises, Café Cenc Amsterdam will soon open its doors (this summer, if all goes well), brought to you by the owners of Bar Parry and Balthazars Keuken. Balthazars Keuken has been a staple on Elandsgracht for years, acclaimed for its fresh ingredients, excellent staff, and inviting atmosphere. The second establishment, Bar Parry, is also a huge hit. Parry is one of those places where the whole evening flies by spontaneously. Of course, this is partly due to the exceptional wines they serve but also because of the buzzing crowd and the sense of a night out that this place evokes. It’s such a great bar where you can forget all your worries for a while. You understand: as far as we’re concerned, Parry is one of the best wine bars in Amsterdam. And there’s no denying that.
Then, starting this summer, there’s Cenc on Vijzelgracht, right in the heart of Amsterdam Centre. As you can imagine, we’re betting that this place will be just as successful as the top two. Not much else is known yet, but knowing the owners, Cenc’s menu will likely revolve around straightforward dishes with simple yet quality ingredients. The opening is currently scheduled for the end of May, and in the meantime, we’re counting down the days. Let’s just hope the extensive renovation doesn’t cause any delays.
