The 34 best shopping streets and areas in Mostar (2024)

This luxury hotel has been located in the heart of the old town of Mostar since 1875. The comfortable guest rooms come with a variety of amenities, including wireless internet and TVs with cable channels. There is also a restaurant on site with excellent Bosnian food.

Highly recommend this hotel and restaurant. We were so well looked after, by such a friendly team. Very comfortable rooms in an excellent location for the old town. Amazing views from the room balcony and restaurant terrace, where we had a superb traditional Bosnian feast! Service impeccable. If you’re looking for somewhere to stay in Mostar, look no further.

We Loved this hotel! It was in the heart of the City, within steps of the famous bridge, restaurants, shops, museums & gelato. We were greeted with a refreshing drink and a Chef's sampling. The staff was friendly and accommodating! They even sent someone out to our car to help us find where to park as it was very confusing. We enjoyed breakfast on the terrace. The basic room was a little small (it is Europe), but the staff and location absolutely make up for it. Highly recommend. We would stay here again.

This is definitely the best hotel I have visited. The hotel is located in the heart of the old town, only 200 meters from the old bridge. The hotel is like a castle from a magical fairy tale. The staff is always smiling, friendly and helpful. The restaurant offers very good Bosnian specialties with quality wines. The breakfast is abundant and very high quality. The first on the trip where I could drink as much coffee as I wanted for free. The rooms are impeccably clean and modernly designed with a touch of Bosnian culture. If you are traveling to Mostar, Hotel Kriva cuprija is a must.

Kija Teami — Google review

The most welcoming and awesome staff in the world. The building is very beautiful and traditional, but modern inside. Breakfast was amazing and included local delicacies like baklava. Super highly recommended!

Two months ago we made a reservation for the hotel and booked 4 rooms. I searched carefully online and the hotel seemed to be a good choice. One week before our arrival date I received the message that our reservation was canceled because of ‘a mistake with the system’ and that she hoped we would find another nice place. It would have been a hospitality offer when the hotel would have made a reservation elsewhere to compensate for the problem caused. The hotel was very friendly to offer some names after I sent them an email asking How this issue could be solved? but they left it there.

Very nice hotel at the best location in town. Also the food and service are great and for sure one of the best picks around. Cannot think of any complain concerning the hotel itself. However the noise from the club in front of the hoteI…. I had a hard time sleeping until 2.30 am, very disappointing and I think it would be good to have a chat with the owners of this club, because it is just not acceptable for a romantic place as this.

My stay at the hotel was wonderful. It is in a great location and the terrace where you can eat meals and relax has a great view of Mostar. The staff were lovely and helpful right from the beginning and the room was very clean. I would recommend the hotel.

I think that i just found my favorite hotel in Mostar... The staff is incredible, friendly and kind. The location is superb (not even a minute away from the old bridge by foot) and the food is amazing. Clean and tidy rooms with a great view and the smaller scale bridge next to the hotel. Actually, I am pretty sure that it is by far my favorite hotel in Mostar :)

It has been one of the most marvellous hotel and travel experience for me. Reception, staff, breakfast and general service are great. The room was wide, light, clean and the view from windows was breathtaking. It is very near to bazaar and the Mostar Bridge. Here is like heaven in the heart of the nature; quite and peaceful. I will come again! ❤

Most likely the best accommodation experiences we had so far! Hospitality at this place is just exceptional, we experienced unbelievably heart-warming welcome, communication and help from everyone that works there. View from the room was one of the kind, even that Mostar have many beautiful parts, I can't imagine location that has better view while being so quite and private, yet in the very centre of the town. I know these are all praises, but food was also unbelievably good, we just love everything about this business, and people who work there are the best thing about it. I won't look for any other places to stay in Mostar in the future, and I'll be sure that all of my friends hear about it. I can't recommend it enough!

It was a very disappointing experience, I don't understand where the 4 stars or the good reviews are coming from... it is a very basic 4 stars hotel. Rooms are also very bad isolated, windows are not good and you hear the loud music of the bars around until early in the morning, you won't get a proper rest or sleep in this place, I would suggest you look for another accommodation if you plan to have some proper rest or sleep.

Be careful of this hotel. Wrote another review that they only take cash and the manager lied and said my credit card was rejected twice by POS terminal. If you only can take cash YOU have financial problems not me! Hotel is good location clean but no better than 3 star. Rooms are small, no facilities and food very average for breakfast. Also they will give you hard sell for dinner…and wait for their critical response to the facts which should tell you all you need to know. BEWARE of a hotel that lies and insults customers who give honest reviews…read others reviews for proof…so unprofessional…

Amazing hospitality, food and location. Super warm and helpful staff who make you feel like family. All the meals were super delicious including the awesome breakfast. The hotel is 2 minute walk from the old bridge. No need to do any more research, just book at Kriva, trust me :) Highly recommend!

The hotel is excellent, boasting an incredible location right next to the Old Town and main Bridge. Additionally, they offer delicious Bosnian cuisine with stunning views from the restaurant.

Perfect place built in stone... very polite stuff and good food. A view also is very good. We get the free upgrade to a Superior room !! Thx to the manager and stuff.

The GPS routed us wrongly. We couldn't find the hotel so walked and found it. Reception drove us to our car and showed us the right way back. Easy then. Service was great. Mostar was a beautiful but a bit too touristy for my liking.

I could talk endlessly about how amazing my stay at Kriva Cuprija Hotel was. The hotel staff was instantly welcome and warm in a way that I had never experienced before. They immediately told us to think of them like family, offered us a welcome mango drink and yogurt snack, and allowed us to settle in and relax before helping us move into our room. They gave us one of the top rooms in the hotel with a gorgeous expansive view of the city. They showed us where the city parking, ATM, and closest paths to the bridges were. The hotel room itself was also so beautiful -- beds were comfortable, linens were clean, balcony was well kept, coffee/tea was accessible. Before leaving for dinner, we stopped by to let the hotel staff know we would most likely need an early checkout due to us needing to return our rental car to Dubrovnik the next day. When we showed up the next morning to check out around 6AM, the hotel manager helped us quickly pay (they accepted a combination of euro and bosnian marks), gave us some bosnian marks in exchange for euros to pay for our parking, and gave us a prepackaged meal of sandwiches, juices, apples, and chocolate to keep us fed on the road. I would recommend this hotel experience to everyone visiting Mostar. Definitely a highlight of my trip!

The hotel is in an amazing location, right next to the Radobolja river. The breakfast is very good and with many options.Rooms are big and clean. However, the best part is the staff. We had a small issue with our room and they solved it perfectly. Special mention to Josip and his amazing customer service skills, always willing to help :)

The entire service staff was extremely friendly and helpful. They went out of their way to make us feel at home and quite pampered. They took time to explain the area while our room was being finished for checkin .. and had a cold refreshment waiting. They insisted on carrying luggage to the car which was 2 blocks. Location was great. Loud music from beer place across the way was only downside during dinner on the patio.

Beautiful setting, amazing views of Mostar, incredible location close to the old bridge, fantastic service and delicious food. One of the best experiences I have ever had.The best part of it all was how lovely and wonderful the staff were, truly remarkable hospitality. Can't wait to go back! ❤️

Had a great stay at this hotel. The staff were amazing especially the lady behind reception we felt very welcome. They upgraded our room for free without us asking. Location is great, in the main bazaar a short walk from the bridge. The hotel building itself is beautiful with great views. We had dinner at the hotel which was lovely and the breakfast the next morning was delicious too with lots of options. As a final touch they gave us a little gift of local cookies on checkout which was very kind. Would definitely recommend.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this amazing hotel and it was an unforgettable experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff went above and beyond to ensure my comfort and satisfaction. The room, beds, food, architecture coupled with exceptional service, made my stay truly memorable. The attentive and courteous staff catered to my every need, ensuring that my stay was as comfortable as possible. The hotel’s prime location made exploring the city a breeze. For a perfect ending of the night i recommend to dine in the hotels restaurant, the traditional veal with the stunning view to the bridge was the cherry on top. Highly recommended this beautiful hotel.

Stayed here for one evening. The welcoming was absolutely one of the best I have ever had anywhere. Greeted and asked to relax right away. Drinks. Good explanation of the hotel and city. Help with the bags. 5 star service from staff. You can see they truly care about what they do and the guests. The view was beautiful. So close to everything. Music playing late but I didn’t mind… it did play until midnight so it’s not the best if you have little ones. This is more a romantic getaway hidden gem. Lots of stairs but again… I thought it was unique and had history. The room was smaller then expected but the bed was quite comfortable. Had dinner there and enjoyed the scenery. Really enjoyed my stay and would recommend to many people!
