Shawn's deception lands the pair in some truly bizarre and hilarious antics as the series progresses.

Psych is about as different from 9-1-1 as a television series could possibly be. However, a similarity to the unorthodox approaches to investigations that Shawn and Gus take can be seen when the firefighters of Station 118 get caught up in police investigations. These moments are often tinged with comedy, such as in Season 4, Episode 12, "Treasure Hunt." While the firefighters may not have Shawn's eidetic memory, they do have unorthodox skills that make for some hilarious hijinks.
